{Preparing for the Holidays}

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week? Although as I was strolling through the mall this weekend, they would like to make you think that Christmas is actually next week. I love Nordstrom's stance on decorating for the holidays - "At Nordstrom, we won’t be decking our halls until Friday, November 28. Why? Well, we just like the idea of celebrating one holiday at a time" - don't you wish all stores would do this? I usually start decorating my house the Monday after Thanksgiving (once I get back into town) and below are a few ideas I have for this year:

Over the weekend I spent quite a bit of time at Nordstrom, and fell in love with a bunch of shoes and not one of them were available in my size - NOT.ONE! So I've done some searching online and am now a little obsessed with these three - don't they just scream fall?

{A Void That Needs Filled}

One MAJOR thing that we did not have time to do while in Italy (and this is a biggie) is shop for shoes and boots. There just wasn’t enough time in the day to have any real personal shopping time, and so while we all bought handbags (some more than others) we are all bummed that we didn’t walk away with a pair of fabulous Italian shoes. So since I have a void that has yet to be filled – and since the weather is getting cooler – I’m on the hunt for some (as in more than 2) boots. I’ve done a little searching online (see below) but I have a work trip to LA in a couple of weeks that I think I’ll wait until I get there before making any purchases…

{Weekend Purchases}

Hi-ya! Hope everyone had a nice weekend and Valentines day! I did exactly what I planned - dinner and a movie with the girls, launched MODAGE, relaxed, caught up on my DVR, gave myself a mani & pedi, and had an unexpected Valentines day shopping spree with dinner at Dos Taquito's (AMAZING!!).
