One essential piece of furniture in my space (no matter the size) is a bedside table. Books, chapstick, glasses, eye-drops, various types of body creams and perfumes, jewelry, objects I forgot I ever had- it always surprises me how many things can fit into the drawers of a nightstand or on a small bedside table. If you don't have one and don't want to spend a lot of money on a new formal bedside table, get creative and repurpose items you may find around your house, or at thrift stores, into unconventional nightstands. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
