{A Shopping Guide Of My Favorite Things}

I first want to say how much I appreciate you and your emails, likes, Facebook messages, etc regarding yesterday's post - it means the world that I have your love and support - THANK YOU!!

So over the last year, one thing that I didn't give up was my love for shopping. In fact, shopping became my therapy (so did truffle fries and extra dirty martinis with extra olives*) because out of the very short time I had to myself each day, it allowed me a place to escape.

Today I thought I would provide you with a mini guide of a few things that I absolutely love and can't live without (ok, maybe a little dramatic, but you get my point). Check em out:
A Few Favorite Things

1. During these winter months this lip balm has saved my lips and have prevented them from cracking and being chapped. Well worth the cost!

2. I waited 2 months for this sweatshirt to be shipped to me. I have a thing for sweatshirts (it's the inner gym teacher in me) and this one is an awesome addition to the collection.

3. This perfume was included in my Birchbox a few months ago. The moment I smelled it, I immediately added it to my Christmas list. Love Love Love!!!

4. For those that follow my Pinterest, you know how badly I've been wanting this bag. After months and months of yearning for this bag, my guy purchased it for me for Christmas. It also comes with a long strap to wear it cross body, as well as a removable clutch. Obsessed!

5. Once you've had fresh squeezed grapefruit and orange juice, you will never again buy the juice that comes in a carton. My current obsession is this juicer that Santa got for me this Christmas. The amount of juice you get out of this is incredible - and it looks super fancy on my counter.

6. I'm having a love affair with this faux fur coat from Asos. The moment I saw it, I had to have it and thank God I bought it when I did, because it sold out in days. Sorry.

7. This leather cap is perfect for those days when you need to quickly run out without having to do your hair. It's also great to wear for those days you simply want to be casual chic.

There you have it - just a few of my favorite things. Of course there's more, but I have to hide the crazy a little bit. More to come.....promise!

Don't hold out on me - what have been some of your favorite purchases over the last months?

* I do not condone shopping, alcohol, and excessive consumption of truffle fries as a means to get through tough times - it only helps temporarily. All things in moderation.

  1. Jessica I forgot to comment yesterday but just wanted to let you know that I am truly happy that you are back in the blogging world. For months I thought my Bloglovin' reader was inaccurate because I couldn't see your posts. Your post to share your feelings / struggles was a brave move, and I commend you for opening up.

    I am glad you are back!

  2. Inner gym teacher? Pshaw, none of my gym teachers EVER wore sweatshirts like that! Actually ... it was more along the lines of those swishy pants (with zippers at the ankles) and matching swishy jacket. And I think what you meant on number 6 is "sorry I'm not sorry." #noonelikesaliar
