{DIY Planters: 3 Ways to Make With Everyday Things}

Why put your plants in a boring pot, when you can make your own unique planter with materials you may already have on hand? As I love a good DIY project, I rounded up a few of my favorites courtsey of my friends over on Pinterest:

I no longer eat fast food, but the next time I'm near one, I think I may have to go in and ask for a few extra large drink containers. I think this is such a great idea - the perfection presentation for any gift (housewarming party, birthday, Mother's Day, Just Because, etc.). The moment that I have an outdoor space or a place that gets a lot of natural sunlight - I'm making these concrete planters. Definitely my style and for the most part looks pretty simple to make. Click here for step-by-step directions.

Who doesn't have an extra can of spray paint sitting around? I know I have several, in fact, I have metallic good.....so why haven't I sprayed every flower pot I own yet? Good question - but you better believe I'll be doing so in the very near future.

As always, I had that 'why didn't I think of that' moment. So easy, right?
