{Lonny Mag Helped Me Find My New Table}

As you know I've been scouring Craigslist, Ebay, thrift and department stores to find the perfect glass table for my living room, but unfortunately, after over a month of looking, I've come up with nothing. The summer issue of Lonny Magazine came out yesterday - so with excitement, I poured a glass of my famous strawberry lemonade and sat down to slowly look through the pages. I finally got to page 184, and instantly the heavens opened, the angels sang, and I knew I had found the perfect tables. I figured they would be a fortune, so I didn't get my hopes up. However, once I found out they were from the Nate Berkus HSN collection, a smile appeared on my face, my credit card slipped into my hand, and I purchased 2 of these lovely tables...

I truly feel they are perfect for my space as they can be paired together so I can place a large piece of glass on top, I can lose the glass and simply position them as pictured above, or I can separate them and place them in different spaces in the room... honestly the possibilities are endless. The tables will be delivered on the 20th, and of course I'll be sharing pictures so you can see how they look in my space and how I've accessorized them {I'm still working on my table styling skills, a few ideas that I'm thinking about are shown above}.

{My Look For Less: Truffault Lamps}

The lamps were an off-white/cream color and while I love, love, love the yellow in the Lonny spread, it wouldn't work in my bedroom - so I decided to spray paint them a glossy white...

Much better, don't you think? And without further ado - here's the final result {sorry for the big glare from the window - I'm still learning the settings on my camera}!!!

$80 for the lamps, $4 for the spray paint, $3 for the painters tape = the same look for A LOT less! So....what do you think?

{Office Makeover: Lonny Mag}

The new issue of Lonny is out and I'm completely jealous over their office makeovers {starting on page 62}. Wow - what a transformation! It has given me a lot of ideas of how to spruce up my place, from the pops of color {as mentioned yesterday}, to the white furniture, to the mix-matched chairs, and the oversized white-framed artwork - I'm just going gaga over it!

{Lonny Magazine: January/February 2011 Issue}

Yay!!! The Lonny Magazine January/February 2011 new issue is out! Per the usual, Lonny is chugged full of inspirational ideas but the one thing that stuck out to me in this issue is the perfectly styled tables. I don't know why, but this is something that I continue to struggle with - how to add that cluster of books, that vase of flowers, that little box or trinket...all without it looking overly cluttered. You know what I'm talking about? So thank you Lonny Mag for giving me some ideas of how to style my tables- here's a glimpse at some of the loveliness...

{Happy Birthday Lonny Magazine}

Lonny Mag has turned 1 this month and their anniversary issue is now out on the "stands" {ie. your computer screen}. As you know I'm a huge fan of this online magazine and get excited every time a new issue comes out because I so look forward to all the eye candy and amazing ideas they have to share. This month {of course} did not disappoint and below are a few of my fave interiors. Take a look....

As a lover of books - I would love for my bed to be nestled in between built-in bookshelves filled with all my favorites...

There's something about this corner nook that I just love - from the floor lamp, to the statue, to the espresso hard wood floors...lovely...

I really like the openness of this room, but I especially love the personal artwork...

...and this FANTASTIC table ~ what I wouldn't do for it...

When you have some time, sit down and enjoy Lonny's anniversary issue ~ I guarantee that you'll find tons of inspiration...promise.

{Aug/Sep Issue of Lonny Magazine}

The August/September issue of Lonny Magazine is now available!!! Last night I got to flip through the pages {several times} preparing for all the goodies I get to share with you today. I'm sure all of my fellow bloggers will also be talking about Lonny today and that just shows how freakin-fantastic the magazine is. It's always filled with impeccable style, stories that inspire, and pictures that make you go oooo....ahhhh....wow.... So without further ado - check out a few of my fave stories and spreads...ENJOY!

{Lonny Magazine: April/May Issue}

I'm excited to announce that the April/May issue of Lonny Magazine is now available. In this case I will allow the pictures to speak for themselves - here are some of my favorite spreads...

{I love these chartreuse feather pillows, clear acrylic side tables, and the lovely throw blanket that compliments the wallpaper so well}

{I'm not afraid of bold walls - but never thought about black or navy...but I like it!}

{What's not to adore about this kitchen...the brick floor, the stainless appliances, the crisp white cabinets, the shelving...just lovely. Additionally, I love the simple silver dish that they have placed the hand soap and lotion on, definitely going to do this in my kitchen and bathrooms...it just adds that special touch.}

{Ummm..the chevron rug from West Elm, the clear acrylic table....the griege bedroom with the cable-knit throw, topped off with a vintage trunk? Yep, you guessed it...love!}

{I'm trying to get better with table styling. I have a console table in the hallway that needs some love - this is definitely the inspiration I needed. Stay tuned...}

{There's something about decorating in all white that I just love - it makes the room feel so fresh and inviting. Unfortunately, with a dog it's out of the question for me.}

{I promise you that one day I will have a wall of books like this. The only thing that's missing is a vintage library ladder - which is a must have for my future office}

Lonny Mag you've done it again - page after page is filled with pure inspiration. Bravo to another fantastic issue!
