{Chambray Romper}

A few weeks ago I saw a chambray romper that I should have bought - and me being me decided not to get it at the time. Several days later I went back to get it, and you guessed it - it was gone. The sales associate tried her hardest to find one for me - checked with other stores and searched online to see if they had one at the warehouse {this is why I am so loyal to Nordstrom} but no luck -  every last one had disappeared. Needless to say, I'm still looking for one, and when I do I plan to style it exactly like she did below. The black cardi, the cognac sandals and bag - yea, kinda kicking myself for not getting it - someday I'll learn...

{Decorating With Door Accessories}

This is one of the many reasons why I want to purchase a home - the ability to do whatever you want to it. Being an apartment dweller has it's perks, don't get me wrong, but I would love to have a home of my own. In due time, in due time {I have to get over my commitment issues and figure out where I want to plant some roots first}...

{Dressing up a simple jersey skirt}

After my surgery, skirts and dresses were the only things that I could wear that didn't irritate my stomach. On a trip to Old Navy to literally buy every skirt and dress I could get my hands on, I picked up what has become my favorite piece of clothing in my closet - a black jersey skirt. I have worn it in so many different ways, I thought I would post my favorite looks to show how you can wear it during the day - and then for a quick change to wear it for a night on the town...

{Searching For: Glass Coffee Table}

I'm on the hunt for a new coffee table - and because my living is on the smaller side, I am looking for a glass table to allow the space to feel more open. I'm currently scouring the flea market and Craigslist, but haven't had any luck yet. I'm sure one will pop up sooner or later, but if you happen to see anything like the ones shown below, pah-lease let me know!

{The World's Greatest Dad}

I posted this last Father's day - and couldn't help but to post it again - enjoy!!!

{My dad used to play beauty shop with me (before I had 3 other sisters to play with) and I got to put barrettes, bobby pins, balls, and even ribbon in his hair. Now come on - you have to agree that's some great dad! Note: he's now bald because of me and my sisters - sorry dad!}

{My absolute favorite game when I was a kid was Memory ~ and my Dad would play it with me over and over.....and over again - at my request of course.}

I could go on and on about how great my dad is from the piggy back rides to bed, to endless hours of Pac Man on our Atari 2600, to standing outside in the cold with my mom at 4:00 in the morning trying to get me a Cabbage Patch doll for Christmas, to attending every gymnastic meet - every cheerleading event - every Thursday night band practice and Friday night high school football game, to washing my clothes when I came home for the weekend from college, to all the way down to his famous fried chicken. Dad I love you to teeny tiny pieces and today I celebrate all that you are and all that you do. You're the bestest!!!

{Craigslist Stalker}

I have a friend that literally stalks Craigslist and she has found some amazing finds. I have used it to sub-let my old apartment, and a few other things - but I've only purchased a couple of items. Can you believe these chairs below, via Copy Cat Chic, are from Craigslist?

After viewing this post, I immediately went to Craigslist to see if I too could find these chairs {fail}, BUT of course found a few other things that I'm kind of obsessing over:

Vintage arm chair - would love this for my bedroom

Outdoor electric grill - this would be perfect for my apartment balcony, love it     

Vintage drafting stools - pricey, but I love the industrial chic look

Factory cart table - I've seen these all over the blogs - wish I had the room

I so could go on and on...but I'm really trying to curve my spending. So let me live vicariously through you - what things have you scored on Craigslist in the past or recently???
