{This Small Space}

HGTV used to have a show called This Small Space and I just loved how these people {mostly in NYC} came up with the most unique ways to maximize their small spaces. DigsDigs recently posted this lovely 500 square foot loft style apartment. The interior is just fabulous and the owners definitely maximized every inch of the space. The apartment is a opened space that really looks bigger than it is. What do you think about the neutral palate? Lately I've been into pattern and color - but I'm diggin the grays, silvers, and whites - definitely makes the space very cohesive. This apartment is an amazing example of how careful planning, and a good eye, can make any space {no matter the size}simply...marvelous. Check out the pics:

{Nesting Newbies Magazine: Issue 3}

Well they've done it again, Nesting Newbies Magazine has developed a third issue and it's full of all sorts of goodies and lovely eye candy. I have flipped through the online magazine several times now trying to narrow down all of my favorites {as you know, I can get carried away} and below are the chosen ones {all of the arrows and quotes are mine, not Nesting Newbies}...
Cover
I had to include the cover because one of my favorite bloggers AphroChic had her lovely pillows featured on the cover this issue. Congrats Jeanine!!!

Chipotle dip
I love dips. Taco dip, chili dip, Heluva good french dip (lol), buffalo chicken dip..the list goes on. Next on my list I would like to try this Smokey Chipolte Greek Yogurt Dip - yum!

Spa baskets
I just love this idea! There's nothing better than spending the day at the spa - imagine giving {and receiving} these cute little goodie bags filled with chocolates, a gift certificate to return to the spa, nail polish, etc. to all your friends. Just love this {definitely adding to my future wedding party wish list}!!!

Nook
Nesting Newbies added a whole section in this issue about Nooks in your home. They included several amazing ideas, but this one by far is my fave. It looks so cozy and intimate - adore it!

Grey sofa
Yesterday I said to a friend that I wanted to sell everything in my house and start all over. When I do - I would love to add this grey sofa. I can see using this in a little sitting area in my bedroom...OR in a special nook. What do you think?

So there you have it - if you would like to see more {which I know you do} click here, soak it in, and enjoy!!!

{Blog of the Week: Love. Obsess. Inspire}

Mornin All!!! I hope you had a lovely weekend. The last 10 days have been pretty busy for me, and I have to admit that I'm ready to get back into the regular swing of things {for the most part}. I have a few changes to the blog that I have planned {8 hours in a cramped airplane seat leaves lots of time for thinking} so you will be seeing these changes little by little this week and next. Stay tuned...

I have been a fan of Love. Obsess. Inspire. (LO.I.) for several months now and today I have chosen it to be my Blog of the Week! Lexi of L.O.I. has one of those blogs that the moment you look at the first page, you can't help yourself looking at page after page after page. I've put together a few of my favorite posts and urge you to visit her site to see so many, many more... Enjoy!

Sno Cone
Love - love - love this. Within the last several months - I've been introduced to traveling food trucks (french fry truck, hamburger truck, taco truck, pancake truck, the list goes on - but this snow cone truck is just genius. Imagine this at an outdoor wedding on a hot sunny day for all your guests to enjoy before, during, and after the ceremony - just love this idea and it's going on my wish list. To learn more, click here. Oh! I forgot to mention - Fresher than Fresh Snow Cones are 100% natural with no artificial flavors or coloring - makes me love it even more.

free printables
In addition to Lexi's lovely posts - she also provides lots and lots of free printables that you can download and use as your own. This little notecard {from Two Pooch Paperie} is so cute, love it - and have downloaded it. If you would also like to so, click here.

pom poms
I just love these pom poms - I wish I could figure out a way to add them to my house without it looking like I decorating for a party.... hmmm, any ideas?

pinwheel 1

pinwheel 2

Pinwheel 3
I have a little girl's birthday party that I have been asked to plan and decorate in July. While I'm not sure what I will be doing {although I know the colors are pink and yellow} I think I may make a bunch of these pinwheels - aren't they cute? If you would like the template to make some of your own, click here

Per the usual I can go on and on but I'm going to stop here. Please be sure to visit Love. Obsess. Inspire.,peruse through all the goodness, and visit often - I guarantee you'll love it!

{Raising Arizona}

As a tribute to my last day here in sunny Arizona, I have coupled together some lovely photograhy inspired by the landscapes I've seen during my time here in Phoenix with necklaces to match - all found on Etsy. I just love the colors here - the bright terra cottas, the sunny yellows, the crisp blues, and fresh greens - so vibrant and beautiful. I've really come to realize that I love the west coast!

My flight leaves this afternoon, and while I had a great time I can't wait to see my Addy! For those who are new to Flourish - Addy is my dog, she's a cockapoo and the love of my life. Isn't she a cutie?

{Lovin' Lulu Frost}

Plain and simple - LOVE! Being such a huge fan of vintage, bold, chunky necklaces, I was instantly drawn to Lulu Frost's jewelry.

As written in NY Mag, Lulu Frost jewelry designer Lisa Salzer knows how to appeal to both the high-fashion and mass-market crowds. Last winter she launched a collection for Urban Outfitters and garnished models on the Wren catwalk, and her Plaza Hotel letter necklaces are currently on display in DKNY's twentieth-anniversary ad campaign. Her new line of accessories for Ann Taylor Loft (Lisa for Loft) benefits breast-cancer research. We caught up with the Long Island native to talk about recession dressing, flea-market hunting, and shopping splurges. Click here to read the full interview, and check out some of my fave pieces below:

{Arizona update - for those that are interested}
Yesterday was a really long day - but the most important and productive for our sales reps. After a session-filled day, we had dinner at our hotel with our clients at Roy's. I got the short ribs and OMG were they delish. We had a blast - let me just say my cheeks and stomach hurt from laughing so much - crazy, crazy peeps for sure. After dinner we sat around the outdoor fire pit (shown below) until my eyes couldn't stay open any longer - then I crashed.

Today we have meetings until 1:00 and then I'm off to the spa for the rest of the day. Sooooooo looking forward to that - every rub and every polished nail is way overdue.

Lovin life - have a great day all!!!!

{Blog Archive: Cocoricoo}

Today I decided to recycle one of my previous posts. Now that I have more of a following, I thought I would share one of my Oldies but Goodies in the event you didn't see it the first time. For those that have already seen this post...well, I'm sure you won't mind and plus it gives you that friendly push to check out Cocoricooo and purchase one of their fab dresses.
--------------------------------------------------

Cocoricooo is one of my many favorite Etsy sellers. I've been eyeing their dresses for some time now. Check out some of their lovely designs below - they are cost-effective (approx. $40), handmade (most importantly), and flattering to most figures.

You'll definitely be seeing me in 3 or more of these this spring/summer. And even though I have some Dolce Vita sandals that are similar to the ones the model is wearing in the pictures, I need to find those exact sandals - FAB! The hunt begins...
{**UPDATE: still haven't found the shoes, boo.....but plan to purchase a dress next week, yay!!}

{Arizona update - for those that are interested}
I have to say this is one of the best work trips I've ever been on. Usually you're stuck in a hotel for days without seeing the light of day - but this trip we have lots of free time and enjoying every bit of it. Yesterday evening we went to Scottsdale and walked {and walked and walked} around until we found this fantastic restaurant called Olive & Ivy. Our dinner was amazing {shrimp risotto - so rich and creamy}, we sat on the water, and decor of the restaurant was just lovely - so cozy. If you're ever in the area - you've got to check it out.

olive_patio

While sitting at dinner we happened to notice a Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus and you don't have to guess for one minute - that was our next destination! Now let me tell you - that was some MALL {Fashion Square Mall} filled with all the best stores - LV, Gucci, Crate and Barrel (with a second floor of furniture), Tiffany & Co., Carolina Herrera, David Yurman...the list goes on and on. We didn't have enough time to really shop, but I must admit I would love to bring home a new Arizona "souvenir" for myself. The night ended with our driver yelling about how technology is taking over the world and how Scottsdale alone has 56,000 millionaires (guess that explains all the sh-mazing shopping). Looking forward to what today brings.... have a lovely one!
